コリントの信徒への手紙Ⅱ ９章６節～１５節
私たちは何か自分のものを与えることに、ためらいや恐れを抱くことがあるでしょう。「これを与えてしまったら自分の手元にあるものが減ってしまう」。そうした不安が知らず知らずのうちに私たちの心を覆います。時間であれ、労力であれ、思いやりであれ、物質的なものであれ、持っているものを手放すことには勇気がいります。しかしパウロは宣言します。「9:6 つまり、こういうことです。惜しんでわずかしか種を蒔かない者は、刈り入れもわずかで、惜しまず豊かに蒔く人は、刈り入れも豊かなのです」。私たちが何かを惜しみなく与えるとき、それは単に自分の手元から何かが無くなるのではありません。神様の豊かな恵みのサイクルの中にそれを投じることなのです。「惜しまず豊かに蒔く」とは、打算や損得勘定を手放して、神様の愛と恵みを信じて大胆に自分を開くことです。その行為は神様が私たちに与えてくださった「9：15言葉では言い尽くせない賜物」であるイエス・キリストの十字架の愛への応答なのです。私たちは途方もない愛を先に受け取った者です。その愛に圧倒され、その恵みに生かされている...
